Global Gateway > make partnerships with international schools

Liz Hitchock of the British Council writes:

Made new friends? School partnerships can boost learning!

Has your involvement with World Schools made you want to take your links further, or seek new ones?

Global Gateway is a free meeting place for thousands of schools worldwide; it is managed by the British Council for the country's Department of Education and Skills who support creative learning partnerships between schools and networks.

Any group or organisation of schools interested in linking with schools in the UK - for English language work, exchanging information or audio files, penfriends, teacher exchange visits etc, please e-mail me for more details.

Individual teachers can register their school at www.globalgateway.org - just outline what you want from the partnership and what you could offer - in the UK schools study Chinese, Japanese, French, German, Spanish and Italian... schools also enjoy student debate, cultural exchanges, ICT projects, science, sport, music, drama and health issues.
