And the winner is.........
NEW ZEALAND!!! 6-1
Whaia e koe ki te iti kahurangi; ki te tuohu koe, me maunga tetei (Seek the treasure you value most dearly: if you bow your head, let it be to a lofty mountain.)
Congratulations to New Zealand and commiserations to England. Would have loved to have been there to see it.
Hope that everyone enjoyed the final party and, more importantly, the fantastic experience that Worlds undoubtedly is.
Thanks again to you Claire for all your hard work. I have no doubt that you shed many a tear after your homeland won.
I am delighted to see that the win has gone to a country that so passionately competes at every tournament that it attends - that I can vouch for personally on several occasions! Also delighted that the winning country is that of WSDC's most passionate of supporters!
Finally, well done to the organisers in Greece for a producing such a wonderful tournament.
