Results from Day 2
Another delightful day in Athens. Our group journeyed to HAEF (Hellenic American Educational Foundation) where we were feted and fed wonderfully.
Here are the results of Day 2.

thanks Claire!
Thanks Claire. You're my hero for staying up all night to get us the results
Thanks Claire. I think it is a pity that everyone (parents, friends, family, schoolmates) cannot get official results via the official web site. It is left to the good nature of yourself to provide this late at night.
So thank you again Claire and I hope that wsdc consider all the people around the world who wish to know how the competition is progressing.
Thanks for your post Phil.
Because this is the official WSDC site for all matters, because I've been blogging for WSDC for three tournaments now, and I guess because I'm the Secretary of the Executive Committee of WSDC Ltd, I'm hoping that you and everyone else might accept this blog, with all its amateur struggles and inevitable mistakes, as the announcement of the official results and my way both of helping the organisers and informing you. The organisrs and everyone else here know I'm doing this and so far, there have been no complaints...(fingers crossed.)
I can say that the organisers are very busy, are doing a fabulous job with over 340 people and it's hard to get any word to the world during a thunderstorm complete with lightning, thunder, rain, power surges and a blackout. (Don't get me wrong, though - thunderstorms are fun!!)
However, I will pass on your comments to see if the result table can be replicated on the 2009site as well.
Thanks very much for following the progress of the teams. Today, the debates will be late so the results will be also.
Kind regards,
Claire
